Golf/ Tennis S. Miguel has two golf courses: the Batalha golf course, about 10 km from Ponta Delgada, with 27 holes, and Achada das Furnas golf course with 18 holes. Both are in excellent condition for the practise of this modality. In Fajă de Cima, about 3 km from Ponta Delgada, tennis courts are at disposal.
