Sé Catedral is a cathedral of great architectonic interest, which keeps images, paintings and priestly garments from the XVII century; jacaranda furniture, oil-paint portraits of diocesan prelates are included in its rich treasure.
Angra Museum, located in the former S. Francisco convent, displays a permanent exhibition subordinated to the themes: the understanding of the Islands of the Azores, Angra, The Azores and the world, from the general captaincy to the liberalism cause.
Brasil Mount offers a splendid view over the city of Angra do Heroísmo, its bay and yacht-harbour.
Porto Judeu is a viewpoint overlooking Cabras islet.
Algar do Carvăo is formed by several caves, with about 100 metres of profundity, plenty of wonderful stalactites and stalagmites.
Grutas da Agulhas, Balcőes and Natal, Furnas Água and Cabrito are caves that should be visited with a guide.
Cume Mount has a peak with 545 metres of altitude, offering a panoramic view over Praia da Vitória village, the plateaux of Lajes and over the interior of the island in its fields bordered by stone walls and hydrangeas.
Ginjal Lagoon and Facho Belvedere are places overlooking Praia da Vitória City, its bay and ocean port.
Serreta is a forest area of great richness. It can be admired from the belvedere of Peneireiro, a viewpoint of magnificent landscapes.
Bagacina and Cabrito peaks are lava formations, areas generally used for cattle-breeding.
Caldeira de Guilherme Moniz, with 15 km of perimeter, is the second biggest hollow of the archipelago. Negro and Patas lagoons are also worthy of a visit.
Biscoitos is a vineyard, an area divided by “curraletos”; pay a visit to the wine museum, founded by Brum family, and that gathers a collection of instruments, photos and other documents related to the wine production. This parish is also a great seashore resort.

Alto da Memória is an obelisk rose in the place of the first castle of Angra in memory of the visit of King D. Pedro IV to the island.
